Our curriculum intent is to inspire learners to develop theoretical insight and foster the confidence to make informed decisions and contribute meaningfully to the well-being of individuals, families, and communities.
This course encourages learners to:
• Develop knowledge and understanding of key concepts, legislation, and policies that underpin health and social care practice.
• Apply practical skills in real-world contexts, including person-centred care, communication, safeguarding, and promoting health and well-being.
• Cultivate critical thinking and reflective practice, enabling learners to analyse scenarios, evaluate interventions, and implement solutions that respect diversity and individual needs.
