Good morning Year 10!

Welcome to another glorious, sunny day! Well it isn't, but at least I made you have a look.

This morning, I was thinking of the time you have spent in school within the last few weeks. I know that the set-up hasn't been what you're used to and I also know that you aren't necessarily with your friends in school (or in your group) - I appreciate that this isn't always easy. However, I want to highlight why I think it is important.

Firstly, the routine of school is important to have. Whether or not you are having that same routine at home, reminding yourself of what the school routine is important. Having the opportunity to have uninterrupted, distraction-free work is something that I know some of you relish.

Secondly, I think it is good to get out of the house and have some interaction with people around you - reminding us that there is some normality to society. Whether you are actively engaging with people around you, I find being surrounded by people at times to be reassuring.

Thirdly - you're only in for 1 day in a 5 (some may not be in this week!). You also have the summer holidays around the corner. When you have this in perspective, one more day is definitely achievable!

Its always a pleasure to see your ultra-happy smiling faces in the morning - not much longer now!

Today's Music Suggestions:

Arcade fire - Suburbs

Badly Drawn Boy - Something to Talk About

Hot Chip - Boy from School

As always, take care of yourself and those around you,

Mr Jeffrey
