Good morning Year 10!

Please find this week's assembly here. This one has a surprise appearance by one of my cats who, as I type this, has just been sick on my desk. And the rain is coming down without a hope of ending. I hope this isn't a metaphor for the rest of the day!

So, here we are - at the end of the first two weeks. I hope it has been beneficial and not just from an academic point of view. Some of you appreciate the change in environment, the routine, seeing and getting away from potentially annoying siblings at home! If you aren't quite there yet, that is OK - I never expected returning from so many weeks off to be straightforward. Coming out of our comfort zone is not always easy, is it? You should now have two more sessions over the next three weeks. If you need more help coming in, there are lots of things we can try to help, all you need do is ask!

This week concludes with a 10-question quiz (one question relates the the above assembly!)

This weeks music - a challenge set by Mr Keenan: Good albums from the last major decades:

60s - The Doors by the Doors (one of my all-time favourites - a very cool guy).

70s - What's going on by Marvin Gaye- please listen to the first track an feel the relevance to the modern day.

80s - Hounds of Love by Kate Bush

90s - Siamese Dream by Smashing Pupkins (the first album I bought from HMV back in the day)

00s - Discovery by Daft Punk

10s - AM by Arctic Monkeys

Please enjoy your weekend and, as always, take care of yourself and those around you.

Mr Jeffrey
