Student Tracking
In order to provide regular information on your child's progress at The County High School Leftwich, we collect and provide you with information about your child(ren)'s progress towards their end of year target. This happens four times during the year, at Student Tracking points (called ST1-4).
| ST1 | ST2 | ST3 | ST4 | |
| Year 11 | 15th October | 3rd December | 28th January | 29th April |
| Year 10 | 12th November | 28th January | 25th March | 8th July |
| Year 9 | 12th November | 28th January | 25th March | 8th July |
| Year 8 | 12th November | 28th January | 25th March | 24th June |
| Year 7 | 12th November | 28th January | 25th March | 24th June |
Two reports will indicate whether your child is on course to Exceed (E), Meet (M) or be Below (B) their end of year target, (ST1 and ST3 in Years 7-10; ST1 and 2 in Year 11) There will be no comment, unless your child is Below target, when teachers will provide 'Even Better If' (EBI) advice on what is required to meet target. These reports will only be available online via the Parent Portal.
Twice a year you will receive a full Progress Report, in which staff provide a written comment, (ST2 & 4 in Years 7-10; ST3 and 4 in Year 11) This report will be available on the Parent Portal and in paper form, which is sent home with your child. Both the levels/grades, and pdf copies of the reports, will also be available on the Parent Portal.
After each Tracking Point, an updated summary report will be available in pdf form which will display information on progress through the academic year. To see what this report looks like please click here.
There will be reminders and links on the school website. If you have elected to receive general communications by email you will also receive an email reminder.
If you need help or advice accessing the Parent Portal or need a password reminder, please contact our parent support via email to parentsupport@leftwichhigh.com
You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to download reports from the Parent Portal. Most computers have this installed already however if necessary this can be downloaded for free here.
If you would like to update your contact information for example to elect to receive general communications such as reporting reminders, newsletter and circulars, please either email parent support as above or contact the school office. We always contact you by telephone for individual matters relating to your child(ren).
We appreciate your feedback and would welcome your comments via email to ppfeedback@leftwichhigh.com.
