School Performance

The school has been consistently proud for many years of students' excellent performance on all of its courses. Indeed, 2012 saw the school achieve its best-ever results at Key Stage 4:

  • 79% of students achieved 5 or more GCSEs at Grade C or above (including GCSEs in English Language and Maths), the sixth consecutive increase as seen below
  • 82% of Year 11 students achieved 5 or more GCSEs at Grade C or above
  • 13% of Year 11 achieved at least 9 A* or A grades
  • 26% of Year 11 achieved at least 5 A* or A grades
  • 55% of Year 11 achieved at least one A* or A grade
  • 81% of Year 11 achieved GCSE A* - C in English
  • 88% of Year 11 achieved GCSE A* - C in Maths
