Publication of Provisional Secondary School Performance Tables, 16th October 2018

The County High School, Leftwich has been consistently proud for many years of students' excellent performance and of the ability and dedication of staff underpinning that high attainment. Once again in 2018, the Academy celebrated impressive results and its Progress 8 score of +0.33 means that, on average, students achieved a third of a grade better than expected in every one of their GCSE subjects, the highest rate of student progress in Cheshire West and Chester, against the backdrop of the biggest reorganisation of the exam system in decades.

Dedicated and caring County High School, colleagues became teachers to enhance children's life-chances and this recognition that for the third consecutive year the progress of our students is "above average" evidences we are doing that - and doing so very well indeed. I lead a wonderful team.
